Key stages of the program
The procedure consists of 6 stages
Review and select real estate investment
Select one or more properties for investment while visiting Cyprus or correspondence.
Sign purchase agreement and transfer funds to a secure account.
Preparation of citizenship application. The applicant shall gather all the necessary papers required by application.
The client will receive a detailed application packaged and documents check list.
The documents must be officially translated into English or Greek and certified with an apostille (if in the country which has signed the Hague Convention of 1961) or stamped by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and relevant Cyprus embassy.
Pre-clearance check
The appointed lawyer completes a pre-clearance check.
Submit applications (PR and citizenship), issuance of Permanent Residency Card.
The applicants must visit Cyprus in order to submit PR and citizenship applications and to give their biometric data required for the issuance of the Permanent Residency Card. Permanent Residency Card is issued in 5 days. The payment of the government submission fee of 2,000 Euros per adult applicant for the purpose of the citizenship application is required at this stage. The citizenship application is lodged together with the property purchase agreement and all required documents at the Ministry of Interior. In addition, PR application fee 500 Euro per family and 70 Euro per person are required.
Completion of naturalization, issuance of Cypriot passport and ID cards.
The Ministry of Interior will approve the citizen application within a period of 6 months from submission.
At the stage submission payment of the government approval fee of 5000 Euro per Adult applicant is required.
Once the applicant has held Cyprus PR card for a period of 6 months, he is able to complete naturalization process.
The Naturalization Certificate must be signed by the applicant either in front of the Registrar of the Cypriot Court or at a Consular abroad in any Cypriot Consulate abroad within three months from receiving approval.
In Cyprus, the whole process, including collection of biometric ID cards 1 day, while through the Cyprus Embassy abroad this process takes up to 2 weeks.
Naturalization of children and parents
Submit applications of children and parents to be naturalized. Applications of minor children are processed within 3 weeks; They can visit Cyprus any time to collect the papers.
Adults/children applications are processed within three months and are subject to submission fee of 2000 Euro and approval fee of 5000 Euro per person.
Once approved passports and ID cards must be collected within 3 months.
